Why a static blog

Everything here is a Markdown file in a Git repo, built into plain HTML by Hugo and served as static files. No database, no runtime, no trackers — just text and a build step.

To write a new post:

hugo new posts/my-new-post.md

Then commit and push — the site rebuilds and deploys automatically.
